We have a fully-equipped shearing shed, suitable for both sheep and alpacas. Rent out the shed for yourself, or benefit from Bill’s 20 years of shearing experience. We can also come to you, but this is not the preferred option.
One common problem during lambing season, particularly in inner rural areas, is the loss of lambs to foxes and dogs. Alpacas are well known for chasing away aggressive dogs and foxes, yet are very amicable among sheep and even with friendly sheepdogs. Alpaca manure is an outstanding multi-purpose, 100% organic fertiliser. What’s more, it doesn’t need to be composted or aged before it can be applied to your garden, unlike many other manures. And we have plenty of it, so it’s cheap, too! Available in 60 litre bags.
